Super Ladz was a fantastic project, wherein a group of twelve boys from local Rotherham schools worked with David to create individual poems exploring an aspect of their mental or physical health that they struggle with, and how their hobbies or favourite things can help them overcome it.

 

As part of this project, I worked alongisde poet and performance aritst David Cartwright, filmmaker Rajnish Madaan and sound producer Pierre Flasse to produce a series of deliverables as part of Super Ladz, including an illustrated book of the poems David created with the boys, soundtracks for each poem and a film of the boys narrating their poems in the grand Wentworth Woodhouse.
